On Liberty

"The most addictive thing on earth is not cocaine, meth, crack, narcotics, tobacco or nicotine, or any other chemical substance; it is raw political power and the ability to control the lives of our fellowman.  Those who crave it will do anything to get and keep it - they will rob, steal, kill, and destroy other people's lives.  There needs to be a citizen intervention, and a 12-step program for recovering politicians ..."

Lesson 7 - Principle Reality Print E-mail

The real world is objective. It exists whether you are aware of it or not.

The uses of the mind and the senses are subjective. They depend upon the manner in which you observe and the way in which you think.

Knowledge is the correct and accurate union of objective reality and subjective observation.

Further, not only are the things of the physical world real, and therefore objective; there are principles that can be observed and learned that relate to and reflect the workings of the physical world. A principle is therefore also an objective fact, or reality.

The reason that a principle must be classified as an objective reality relates to the stable, unchanging nature of reality that makes it possible for us to observe or "discover" a principle.

All principles are working rules that explain how things work or happen, and how specific result can be obtained.

Human beings do not create or invent principles, they discover them. All principles are part of the real world, and like the real world, they exist whether or not you are aware of them!
