Page 3 of 13 Thus, since a person alone controls his or her own energies as well as his or her own decision-making ability, every action that he or she has taken automatically results in his or her being credited or blamed for the actions, as well as for the direct results of those actions. Nor can this be avoided. Read that paragraph again. Since the individual is the only one who can make up his or her own mind, and is the only one who can command the use of his own energy, he or she is rightfully credited or blamed for his or her actions, as well as for the results that directly accrue from such decisions and actions. No one else can be credited or blamed for decisions or actions made by an individual, whatever role those others might have played in the process by which the individual ultimately decided, and acted. The process by which an individual reaches a decision to act is individually subjective and of the mind. However, the decision itself, as well as any actual action taken, is real and objective. We live in a time when many people attempt to make it appear that the individual is not really responsible for his or her own decisions, or his or her own actions.
