"There are paradoxes in the quest for freedom. Because you'll always have people yearning for the freedom to enslave others."

Lesson 33 - Property and Ownership Part I Print E-mail

The term “homo sapiens” itself is from the Latin "homo" or man, and "sapiens" or wise and discerning, thus literally meaning “wise man” or “knowing man”.

Humans have a brain that is highly developed in the areas of abstract reasoning, planning, language, and problem solving.  This mental capability is combined with an erect body carriage that frees the forelimbs, and opposing thumbs, which enable humans to grasp objects and to make and use complex tools.

Man exercises his unique mental powers to visualize all kinds of devices, tools, and procedures by which a vast array of goods and services can be produced and provided, for the purpose of providing the means to survive in his environment, and to provide the additional comforts or conveniences that he desires.
