Lesson 8 - Human Action Print E-mail

 

Having observed and learned certain things, humans begin to act in terms of predictability. Requiring certain satisfactions in order to live, humans learn the nature of many things and then act in expectation that the desired results will be forthcoming if the correct causes are set into motion.

Because humans are rational rather than instinctive, each must be constantly acquiring knowledge. As we noted earlier, acquiring knowledge is the process of making subjective observations regarding objective reality, and reaching an accurate or correct conclusion (belief) regarding them.
